SleepMelody respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Data controller

SleepMelody ("we") is the controller of your personal data. For any privacy request, contact privacy@sleepmelody.app.

What we collect

Email, language preference, listening sessions, and (if you upgrade) Stripe subscription metadata.

How we use it

To run the service, sync your data across devices, and personalize your experience. We never sell data.

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

We process your data based on your consent (marketing and ad personalization), performance of our contract (providing the app and your subscription), and our legitimate interests (security and product improvement).

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account we erase your personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example tax or payment records).

International data transfers

Our providers (such as Supabase, Stripe and Google) may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data.

Children

SleepMelody is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Parents or guardians may contact us to remove any such data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. EU/UK users may lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority; Türkiye users with the KVKK Authority.

You can export or delete your data at any time. Contact privacy@sleepmelody.app.

Delete your account

You can delete your account and all associated data from Profile → Delete account, or by emailing support@sleepmelody.app. Deletion is permanent.
